I am looking for any relatives or information on my grandfather Jose Vierra Silva. Vierra may have been his original last name but was changed when he 1st entered America. He originated from the island Madeira in Portugal and raised his family in Lowell, Massachusetts. He is said to be from a large family, about 12 brothers & sisters, but only know of his younger brother Anthony. Maybe others were still in Portugal or died at a young age. I believe his mother's maiden name was 'Pestana'. Not sure of the date of his arrival but around 1925 at age 9. If you have any information on any relatives please post a message. Thanks!!
