since my last post I was able to find out more about this lady. She is Mary Alberta Silliman. Her parents are William Albert Silliman and Mary W. Alexander Silliman. William albert is the son of James. James and his wife died while the family was still in York District SC. James Brother John Silliman and his wife Mary Campbell Silliman adopted james 3 orphan sons. John and Mary took their 8 children and the adopted 3 to Mississippi where they settled. John died one year later and Mary raised all the children. Does anyone connect to this line or have more info.
