Hi Jerry,
I don't know if I have all the scoop but will share some of the info I have about your Silliman ancestors. Jerry Beverly Silliman's parents were Jeremiah Alexander and Alma Burvela (Thomas) Silliman. Jeremiah Alexander was the son of William Alexander and Gionetta Novella (Jordon) Silliman. William Alexander was the son of Alexander and Jane (Foresman) Silliman. Alexander was the son of Thomas and Mary (Middaugh) Silliman. Thomas was the son of Alexander and Margaret (______) Sillyman. Alexander was the son of Thomas and Agnes (______) Sillyman. This Thomas Sillyman was born in Artrim County, Ireland and died in Pennsylvania in 1762. He was the originator of the Pennsylvania Sillyman/Sillimans. This Silliman is reasonable well documented in the Book, The Silliman Family, by Robert B. Silliman, 1966. You will find that you have several cousins here on the Silliman forum.
