My record confirms the marriage to John Sill, but I too have no confirmation of her parents.I do show her as "from Long Island" and I found this note, as yet not authenticated:
"According to a note in a book on Philip Vickers Fithian, "The first settler by the name of Fithian on Long Island, New York was William Fithian, who settled in Easthampton( among the first settlers). He was a native of Wales, a soldier in Cromwell's army, present at the execution of Charles I, proscribed a regicide and obliged to flee the country on the restoration of Chas. 2nd. (1660). He probably came to this country very soon after the death of Oliver Cromwell. He came first to Boston, then Lynn, then New Haven, then Easthampton where he lived and died."
