That is great news Earl. Now write for his birth cert. and
you will have his parents. You can write the city or county of his birth and give the name and bd and they will sent you a copy for a few dollars. Also do you have an obit. at the time of death. That can give you some good clues. Like that he was married in the Catholic Church. That clue leads me to believe that he was raised Catholic and that his parents might be from Ireland.
