I AGREE WITH THE RUSSIAN/POLISH PART OF YOUR MESSAGE. MY GREAT GRANDFATHER WAS IN THE GERMAN ARMY IN 1870 BUT SPELLED THE NAMED AS PRONOUNCED THE SAME AS IN POLISH. THAT NAME WAS SPELLED SCHEKORSKE.

MY GRANFATHER'S NAME WAS LUDVIK SIKORSKI (TAKEN FROM HIS TOMB STONE.) HE HAD A SON ANTHONY AMONG OTHERS.
