I wish I were the same Brian Sikorski that pitches for the Rangers. I just bought several of his baseball cards for my one year old son.

You say your parents spelled their last name Sikorski - and you spell yours Sikorskyi - looks like you covered all the spellings in one shot -

I am hoping to learn more about the history of the Sikorski's, y's, yi's etc. to see where we've been.
