Looking for parents of Catherine Ruth Sikes b. abt 1820 in NC and married Alexander A. Brown in Macon Co. Al 1845.
He was 50 yrs old when he married her and obviously married before. Alexander was born in Scotland in 1795.
He recieved bounty land for War of 1812 service in Tuscaloosa Co. Al where they lived in 1850 with two small children. Returned to Macon Co. abt 2 yrs later before moving to Choctaw Co. Al where they died.
