Some people thought Mahaley's last name may have been Rhodes since William was bonded out to a William Rhodes and he may have been her brother. I then saw something showing she was from Hillsborough, NC. I checked out library in Salisbury, NC and there was a Mahala Rhodes but she married an Anderson so that is a dead end. YOu can e-mail me at richardtonie@aol.com for info in NC and I'll see what our library has. Very good genealogy section.
