Vertie B Sigmon

I've reached a dead end in my genealogy search - My Maternal great grandmother was Vertie B Sigmon, although I've seen misspellings of her first name, (such as Verdie, Vergie and Bertie), but most often I see it as Vertie B Sigmon

She married June T Dellinger.

She was Born November 10, 1881 and Died February 14, 1944. They had about 12 children in Lincoln County, NC

If anyone has any information about her parents, I'd sure appreciate it!

I've also heard rumors of Native American blood on this side of the family. If anyone knows how to trace that, I'd be grateful.

Thank you
