Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

Carol,
The name Wilhelm Sievert got me, as that is my Granddad's name. Grandma's name was Sophia Klatt. They were from the Mecklenburg area of northeasten Germany. Wonder if there might be a kinship somewhere in the background?
Granddad settled in northwestern Iowa, near the community of Galva.

Bill Rhode
