I am interested in any information regarding any of the following of my ancestors which appear to all be Alsatian:
Raphael Sigfrid: dob abt 1700
Married Catherine Meyer; dob abt 1700
I show one son to date: Antoine Joseph Siegfried dob abt 1729 in Reimersweiller (?)
Antoine Joseph married:
Marie Anne Thomen June 02, 1749 in Soufflenheim
They produced 9 children that I know of.
One being:
Francois Joseph Siegfried: dob May 17, 1754
Married Marie Anne Wasser; dob April 26, 1755
They produced7 children that I know of.
One being:
Catherine Siegfried dob May 14, 1790
She married my ancestor, Francois Joseph Mar˙ dob Feb. 23 1863. They are my GGGGGrandparents.
They married June 03 1815 and I do not know where she died and was laid to rest.
They produced9 children
One being, Bernard Mar˙ dob August 20, 1823
He married Catherine Zinger/Singer April 28, 1852
Bernard and Catherine SOMEHOW, SOME DAY, SOME YEAR, to America and settled in Pittsburgh, South Side, PA and resided at 1709 Jane St.
Anyone who can help me and I could in turn help I would be anxious to hear from. Also wanting to know from where the Mar˙ families came to live in Soufflenheim.
