William O Sides died in 1863 of Tyfoid Malaria at Baton Rouch, Lewisiana while a soldier in the Civil War.I am looking for information about his parents. William was born in 1810 at Portsmouth, New Hampshire. He lived at Groveland Lewisiana when he became a volunteer and member of the infantry . Father could be Samual or George of England? William had a son named Samual. I believe William was married twice. Any Sides families in Ma. could be related to me through Samual Sides son of Willima O. Sides of Groveland, Ma. Samual Sides had two sons while married to his wife, Metcalf and living in Sherman Mills, Maine and a son Arther of Boston (a Boston Police officer).
