Hubert Sides, early 1910's Walker County, AL

Hi,

My husband and I are desperately trying to locate members of his family. His father was born in Walker county, AL and lived in Jasper or Carbon Hill. His fathers name was Hubert Sides and he only had one brother named Clifton or Clifford. His brother never married and as far as we know never left Walker County. Hubert served in the US Navy for 30 years and retired to San Diego, CA. My husband, Hubert, was his only child and I do know that he had a nickname, Butch. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
