Looking for Zalmon Bonnett Seacord
Posted by: Susan Cook (ID *****7485) Date: October 25, 2008 at 19:39:10

Anyone ever hear of Zalmon (or Zalamon) Bonnett Seacord of New Rochelle, NY. b. June 19, 1808 married to Mary A. Horton b. April 13, 1813. Word in my family is that he disappeared and went to South America. Curiously his grave is in New Rochelle, but no dates are on the grave! Bet if you dug down, he wouldn't be there. I have been trying to find out what happened to their six children (including my g.g. grandfather Caleb Horton Seacord b. 1848) after the death of Mary in 1850 and Zalmon's disappearance shortly after she died. Thanks to anyone who can help.
