Perhaps you can be of help with your huge database. I am looking for the parents names of my ancestor Charlotte Ducheny, who married at Louiseville (next door to Maskinongé) on 19 Feb 1781 to Joseph Sicard-de-Carufel (s/o Joseph & Louise Vanasse dit Bastien). No parents are given for her in the parish register, but have you discovered anything else about her from your research. She died at Maskinongé on 23 Oct 1839 (78y.) I descend from her oldest son Joseph, born in 1781, married to Madeleine Corbin in 1810 at Maskinongé, Thanks, Dennis Boudreau

PS the record gives a 2-3 degree dispensation from consanguinity (1st cousins, once removed), and because of this, I am inclined to think she may be the daughter of Jean-François Baril dit Ducheny and Genevieve Sicard de Carufel. Could this be correct?

Jean Sicard-de-Carufel & Geneviève Raté

1-Joseph & Ursule FOUCAULT 1-Geneviève & Jean-Francois Baril

2-Joseph & Louise Vanasse-Bastien 2-Charlotte Ducheny

3-Joseph Sicard-de-Carufel
