Yes, and it's a little recent for the possibility I was looking at. I know a Daniel Shutts, teached in Ill. in 1850, with two Daughters and a young, unrelated, boarder (I believe a 7 year old boy). So, this isn't the same person. It turns out )I found some data this last weekend) Danial and his wife died in a Missouri Typhoid epidemic before 1860, with the daughters being removed to New York to be raised by an Aunt (Clymena Shutts Bennett). This explains why I couldn't find him and his wife in 1860. I was reaching for a straw, thinking he and his wife might have adopted their border. Thanks, Bill Parke
