According to the Shurtleff genealogy, Raymond Shyrock Shurtleff married Mildred Almina Pomeroy who was born in Orion, Ill April 24, 1888. They were married Feb 20, 1926 in Avon, Illinois. Their children were Martha Mae b Apr 4, 1928 and Elizabeth Grace b May 17, 1931. The information ends there. Raymond was the son of William Locke Shurtleff, the son of Henry Sargent, the son of Barzillai, the son of Benjamin, the son of Benjamin, the third on of Abiel, the son of the first William Shurtleff in the colonies, died by lightning 1666.
