Shurtleff Library of Congress catalog card # 76-1655, you will find a complete genealogical history back to William Shurtleff b. 1624,d.1666 & including G.A.S. complete family up to 1976. This Book is available in ref. form in all major city libraies. His cildren were Myrtle Irene,b. in Janesvelle, Wis. July 27,1873, Claribel,b. in Janesville July 19,1875, Harold George b. in Janesvelle Sept. 8, 1878, Myrtle Ramona b. in Milwaukee Sept. 9, 1902(adopted child of Myrtle Irene,who d. in 1905) & Myrtle George b. in Bufffalo, N.Y. Dec.31, 1904 ( adopted child of Myrltle Irene) bith children were adopted by George Amasa after Myrtle's death as was Genevieve Ellizabeth, b.August 30, 1894 (child of Myrtle's & her 2nd husband, Louie Williams.
