I'am working on the Shumate I have a J.W. Shumate that
married a Ardilla Mowery she was from Ohio.
I have him b. in Ky about 1844.
There is a Mt. Pleasant Centery in Ill. I think it in Macon
County that close to Decatur IL> K now that there
some Shumate there but most of the stone are gone . Most of
the Shumate I have are in Il.
