Hi, Richard: I am the great- granddaughter of Peter Shoemaker or Shumaker. My grandfather was William Porter Shumaker, youngest son of Peter and Elizabeth Shumaker. I have done considerable research on the Shumaker family and have been in touch with Robert Shumaker but haven't been able to contact Mark. I have emailed a copy of your message to Robert. Both he and I have been researching other family lines lately. I don't know if he has read the history you referred to.
