has what looks like Minerva - age is right, name is right, she is living in Adams County in 1880, a couple of years before she and James tie the knot:

Household:

Name Relation Marital Status Gender Race Age Birthplace Occupation Father's Birthplace Mother's Birthplace
Benjaman SETTY Self M Male W 45 OH Farming OH OH
Jane SETTY Wife M Female W 34 OH Keeping House OH VA
James F. SETTY Son S Male W 16 OH Farming OH OH
Minervie A. SETTY Dau S Female W 14 OH Keeping House OH OH
Hester A. SETTY Dau S Female W 11 OH Keeping House OH OH
Saloma M. SETTY Dau S Female W 3 OH Keeping House OH OH

Census Place Bratton, Adams, Ohio

A word of caution, however - Jane may not be her mother. The fact Jane is 11 years younger than Benjamin and the 8-year gap between Hester and Saloma both hint that Jane is his second wife. On the other hand, she may have been his first and only wife and they may have had two children aged 8 &5 who were carried off by fever. Farm accidents, the enduring grief of a still-born child, miscarriage, hogs loose when they shouldn't be, diphtheria - there are a lot of explanations for the gap. Jane would have been 16-17 and Benjamin 27-28 when they married, if she was his first wife, James was their first child and James was born a year or two after they married. That big a gap wasn't unheard of back then, but it was not the norm; spouses in first marriages are usually within 5 years of each other.

When Minerva dies, 47 years later, whoever filled out the death certificate may have mistakenly entered a step-mother instead of a mother. Jane would have been the only woman Minerva had known as "Mother" from the time Minreva was 9 years old, assuming a second marriage a year or two before Saloma there is born.

The IGI

has one Benjamin Setty born in Ohio 1830 - 1840:
Benjamin Setty
Birth: 19 AUG 1838 Brush Creek, , Highland, Ohio
Death: 1927
Father: Benjamin Setty
Mother: Esther
Record submitted after 1991 by a member of the LDS Church.

FInally, this may be Benjamin Sr. in 1880, just over the county line from Minerva:

Household:

Name Relation Marital Status Gender Race Age Birthplace Occupation Father's Birthplace Mother's Birthplace
C. CAPLINGER Self M Male W 56 OH Farmer VA VA
Barbara CAPLINGER Wife M Female W 50 VA Keeping House VA VA
Benjamin SETTY FatherL W Male W 83 VA VA VA
Rebecca SETTY SisterL S Female W 41 OH House Keeper VA VA
George JONES Other S Male MU 30 OH Farm Hand VA VA

Census Place Pebble, Pike, Ohio

Highland, Pike and Adams county are adjacent to each other in the southern tip of Ohio.
