Thank you, at first I questioned Jacob with that family in 1880, since he had married in 1871 to Malinda (Christian's second wife)sister Susan Rebecca "Becky" VanMeter. Yet since one note said Bennie died young and "Nellie" died same year as her mother Becky. Perhaps Jacob was back with his parents for a short period. Yet makes one wonder where his other three children are. Maggie, Libby, and Chris. Know Christin and Malinda died Lovewell County, KS 1895. Have the rest of Jacob census till his death in 1927. We were never able to identify Christian Father's name. Understood he stayed with his grandfather Christion till his mother took him to Logan County, OH. Thank you for your help. Charlotte
