Thank you so much for you response. These are great. What I really am trying to find out is what happened to Samuel L. Shuler. He was born 1852 in Orangeburg, SC. Parents were John L. and Margaret K. (Bozard) Shuler. He married Mary E. Moorer (daughter of Absolom Scott and Sarah P.(Malone) Moorer) in Feb. 1876. Samuel died August 1876 somewhere in SC. Their son Samuel A. Shuler was born December 1876. We do not know the cause of Samuel L.'s death or where he was buried. He is not buried in the plot at Four holes Cem. His wife was buried in Savannah Ga, but he is not buried there either.
