"Emmanuel Church", south of Thomasville, 3 1/4 miles; Lower Davidson charge; built 1814; Congregation made up of several older Reformed Congregations in the County. Principal families: Grimes (Grimms), Myers, Inlers, SHULERS, Lohns, Leivengoods, Vaitches,etc. Probably originated by the Rev. Boger; became disorganized when in 1835 it was resuscited by the Rev. David crook. Property held in common by the Reformed and Lutherans.

Repaired, repainted, but too small for congregation at this time. (1890).
