I would be pleased to help you learn more of your family history.
Unfortunately while I have amassed a wealth of information on the Shuey family history I cannot, however, make a connection at this point within my database with either your grandfather or great-grandfather.
The history of the 'Shuey Family in America' is, for the most part, contained in two books published by the late Dennis Boeshore Shuey. [He is my wife's grand-uncle and died in 1919, hence my interest.]
His books are in the Library of Congress and in many genealogial societies - Copies may be purchased from Higginson Books in Salem, Massachusetts overf the Internet.
They contain, however, no information relevant to your search at this point.
I'll make a check and see what information I can discover.
