Thomas,

I've check out my Shuey/Shewey/Shuee database without success - but did find a website that may prove helpful:

http://www.LongLostPeople.com

It reflects a Charles and Eileen Shuee of Indiana. You may want to check it out by inserting your grandfather's name - Charles Shuee. It will come up with Charles and Eileen Shuey in Indiana.

The main history of the family- and I'm sure that your ancestors are in there - is a book published in 1919 byDr. Dennis Boeshore Shuey, Ph.D entitled"History of the Shuey Family in America -1732 -1919. Dr Shuey was one of my wife's great-uncles.

The book may well be in your local family history offices and is in the Library of the United States; it can be purchased in a reprint edition from Higginson Books of Salem, Massachusetts.

Should you discover more information about your paternal ancestors please let me know and I'll try to help you.
