I did a little research on this family years ago in relation to the Athey family of Loudoun County. In the book "Images of America - Loudoun County, 250 years of Villages and Towns" by Mary Fishback, there is a picture of a member of this family. The caption reads "This photo was taken in the 1940s. Judge Shry is shown here pumping gas at Shry's Store. Shry family members have lived near Lucketts, at a crossroad known to locals as 'Lost Corner,' for over 100 years."
