I found the George Shrum who married an Anna Mary. This couple lived in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania. Now, thanks to you, I have her maiden name (Young), and parents names! To return the favor I did some census research with the Jacob and Mary Ann (McDonald) Young family. I found them as a complete family (mother and father and all 10 children listed by Ethel Neely McKinney) in the 1850 Allegheny County, Pennsylvania federal census, living in Franklin township. In 1860 their son Philip Young is married to Mary (Mary Ann Evans) and they have a 2 year old daughter, Anna B. Young. In the 1900 Beaver County, Pennsylvania, federal census I found Louis Neely married to an Anna B. with children Annie M., Ethel L. and John B. Back to your sheet of information, written by Ethel Neely McKinney. It would appear to me that Ethel L. Neely is the daughter of Louis Neely and Anna B. Young. Her mother Anna is the daughter of Phillip Youmg and Mary Ann Evans (the names underlined are Ethel's grandparents). And Ethel and John B. Neely's great-grandparents are Mary Ann McDonald and Jacob Young. I will e-mail you directly and attach a file about this family with all the census data and other references used.
