There is another Louisa SHRUM born about 1851 to Samuel SHRUM and Mary Ann ENGREN. Samuel was enumerated in St. Francois County on the 1850 federal census, and in Reynolds County on the 1860 federal census which shows Louisa, age 8, born in Missouri.
Samuel SHRUM was born in May 1822 in Tennessee and died in Graniteville, Iron County, Missouri in 1905. Mary Ann ENGREN was born in Arkansas. They were married before 1841.
It appears that Mary Ann died about 1854 as Samuel remarries to Mary LIGHT on 15 August 1854. He marries a third time in 1872. Samuel had children by all three wives.
