Mike, many of us with the surnames Shrom, Shrum, Schrum, Schrom, Schram descend from the 1738 immigrant family of Jacob and Anna Maria Schramm who settled in York County, Pa.
I have been researching the descendents of this family for nearly 20 years, and have quite a collection of Shrom and Schrom descendents still in eastern Pennsylvania. There are several family groups with those surnames who are not directly descended from the 1738 immigrants. I would be very happy to work with you to learn more about your family and to share with you what I have learned.
