The Shrout name of Kentucky, is German, some researchers believe it really should be Schrodt, and originates probably in or about Darmstadt, Germany.
are you decended from John and Augusta Shrout who lived at Atchison City, Atchison County, Kansas in 1930. other family members were John, Belly, and Shirley?
