I certainly seems that William Douglas Shrout is the son of
david Shrout, their son William was born about 1860 in the
1870 and 1880 Census, he is shown as William D. in 1880, and they lived near Blue Springs where William Douglas was buried in the Cem. I checked the other brothers of David Shrout, who lived in Missouri, none of them have a son William that would fit the age requirements. It is a fit.
Noah Shrout is the son of Gasper Shrout (some call who Jasper) and Rebecca (probably Alfrey, but not proven)
Gasper and Rebecca came to Montgomery Co, Ky from Hardy Co,
WV (Virginia at the Time) before 1800, after 1790. He was born abt 1765 at either near Philadelphia, Pa or at Hampshire Co, Va, the area where they lived at Va is now
Grant Co, WV, when they left it was Hardy Co, Va.
Jasper is the son of Johann Peter and Anna Clara (Feuerbach)
Shrout, Johann Peter was the immigrant from germany in 1754.
