If you family came from our line, which most Shrouts in this country do, your grandfather would have come from Hardy, Grant, or Preston Co, WV. They all are decended from
Johann Peter Shrout and Anna Clara Feuerbach. I have alot of
James Shrouts in my database about the right age where I don't know the wife. When was your grandfather born?
