Phil, I am Winston Shrout and my father was Walter. Walter and Ed were brothers (Clyde was the oldest, Ed, Mae, Walter, Ellis, Nellie, and Thomas...Nellie Shrout Boone and Thomas are still alive). My father and your father were the best of friends and shared many interests before Coleman went off to Alabama. I remember Coleman very well. The day your father died there was another Shrout cousin in Bath Co, Ky. that died that same day, and since my father was ill at the time it was thought he would die that same day...superstition of people dying in threes. In any event your uncle Ralph lives in Kentucky, I think in Glasgow. Aunt Nellie Boone is in touch with him and can give you the details. She lives in Lexington and you can get her phone from information there or I can get it for you. Your grandparents I remember very well. Aunt Florida was the kindest person known anywhere. Yes, I remember Coleman...he even taught me how to fish. Winston Shrout wshrout@redrock.net
