Hello, I've run across that book review, too, and I'm confused by it. I'm descended from a St. John Shropshire, through Nancy Shropshire, Abner Shropshire, John Shropshire, St. John Shropshire and immigrant, St. John Shropshire, who was a minister in Westmoreland Co, VA. There are quite a few records on this minister in Ancestry.com.
