I am so happy to hear from you! I don't know if you know yet, but I am married now with a nearly two year old little girl! We are planning a trip up to DC and area in April and I do intend to do some hit some libraries while up there! So glad also to see someone else looking!

By the way, you wouldn't have any information on Grandaddy's mom, Mary Carter?? The name is so popular and I have no idea where to start! That last time we were out in LA, and came by to see you, we also went out and took pictures of Emanuel and Mary's headstones. I believe her brother, Harry Carter, was buried next to her. Took pictures of his headstome too. If I am not mistaken, he died young, in 1912, the same year Grandaddy was born-perhaps he was named after her brother?! Just curious!! Thanks!
Say "HI" to everyone else out there for me!
Kim
