I just happened to find this looking for another family in Washington Co IN, and since it was in an odd place (deed records index) it may go unnoticed. It regards Nathaniel Shrewsbury freeing 11 Negroes Oct 27 1857. Index indicates that the record may be found in Washington Co Deeds, Book A-2 p 628. That's all I have.
