Nancy Shrewsbury, born 18 Nov 1830.
It said "this is a true copy. [no end quotes, and I not know what Grace was referring to] She continues: In an article in History of Warren County, Iowa, Jefferson Shrewsbury says that he went to Putnam County, Indiana, in 1833 with his mother. The father evidently died, and we have no further record of John B. or Martha. In 1840 census of Putnam Co., Indiana we find Joes as head of household, with his mother, two younger brothers and two younger sisters. Brother Booker and wife were close by. ... 1850 census of Putnam Co., in Warren Twp (page 530):
