The Chariton Leader, Chariton, Iowa Thursday, June 22, 1905 Yesterday, June 21, 1905, at ten A.M. at Cloverdale in Union Township, at the pleasant home of the bride's parents, MR. and MRS. L.R. SHREVE, occurred the marriage of MR. FRANK HUMPHREY and MISS EFFIE SHREVE. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Harned in the presence of a number of relatives and friends. DR. LLOYD TALLY of Lincoln, Neb., officiated as best man and MISS BLANCHE RANDALL of Sumner, Mo., acted as bridesmaid. While the bridal party was entering the parlor MISS MAE HARNED sang the wedding song, "I For You and You For Me." The bride was attired in a beautiful white crepe de chene over white taffeta silk and carried white roses. At the conclusion of the ceremony and after congratulations had been proffered an elegant wedding dinner was served. Both bride and groom are graduates of Simpson College, Indianola, and are held in the highest esteem by all who know them. They have a large circle of warm friends who will extend congratulations and best wishes on this happy occasion. The worthy couple left in the afternoon for Greenfield where they will reside.
