Thank you very much for your help. Unfortunately, I still have not found the conclusive answer to settle the question of who Lois Bumgardner or Crotts married to Filo Shoup is.
The Pearl Lois Bumgardner you mention shows a birthdate of 1900 which would make her a bit younger than the 1920 and 1930 Census listings for the wife of Filo Shoup. In those listings, she is age 33 in 1920 and age 44 in 1930 meaning a birth year of about 1886-1887.
Do you have reason to think that this Pearl Lois Bumgardner is the wife of Filo Shoup? I had not found his wife listed as "Pearl Lois" before. If we have her parents names, it would be helpful.
I really appreciate the time you took to try to help me. I had previously reviewed the references you mentioned but they did not contain the parents of Lois Bumgardner Shoup either.
