Paul married Bertha Badger and has one daughter, Mary. He has been a successful farmer and highway maintenance man.

Mabel married Frnak Hogue. She has three chidlren: Jay McNulty, Grace and Walter. Jay McNulty married Mildred Mathieson and has three children, Charles, Walter and Elizabeth. Two others died in infancy.

Hazel married Will Dean and has four children: Charles, who died in infancy, Alice, Elizabeth and Betty. Elizabeth married Donald Fleming.

Merrill married Olie Thompson and has four children: Marie, Charles, Robet and Laura Mae. Marie is dead. Merrill served overseas in the Great War and was in the army of occupation.

Joe marrie dHattie Sholler and has one son, Donald, and a daughter, Nancy Louise. Joe has been an auto mechanic for years and now runs his own service garage at Plaingrove.

Alice married Paul Palmer. They have an adopted child, Larry.

Appears in service 1777-80-82, undated roll, with Captains Alex. Peebles and William Strain, Command of Col. Jams Dunlop. In Mr. John G. Orr's intereseting article on Early Grist Mills of Lurgan Twp., he states that the mill on Row Run, and the first mill on the site, was ereted in 1766, by Peter Shoaff, who bequeathed it to James Shoaff, Apr. 12, 1793, who conveyed it to John Herron, Oct. 13, 1799. By 1801, it had become the property of David Gish of Lancaster County, the price of 1200 pounds including the farms. In the will of Peter Shoaff, Sr., of Southampton Twp. dated and prob. 1795, he names oldest dau. Anne Kirbaugh, her oldest son Peter Shoemaker, and her dau. Anne Kirbaugh. Grandchild Margaret Stumback, dau. of my dau. Kartrout Stumback; dau. Elizabeth Stumback; dau. Katherine Painter; residue of estate between sons James and Peter, who were the Executors. John and James Brackenridge as witnesses.
