As you can see, one record show Albert's name spelled Shoop, and another records shows it spelled Shoup. His wife's name is "Rebecca", so that could indicate that she could have been named for her mother.
Are there records to show that Rebecca (Smith) Jones lived in the Shoup household? I couldn't find any. What was Rebecca's husband's name?
