Hi, My line comes from Booker R. Shorter too. I haven't found the documentation which would support our ancestor having the parents of John Shorter and Elizabeth Underwood Shorter. If you look at the dates there is a small time period where John Shorter married Elizabeth in 1722 and died 15 July 1728 all in Middlesex County, VA(The Parish Register of Christ Church, Middlesex Co., VA). There are two children per court records Henry and Mary. Do you have documentation that shows another child?
Some others think that Anthony Shorter who married Sussannah Kendal might be John (who married Kindness)'s father.
Is there a DNA testing for the Shorter line?
