Karen
Thanks so much for the information about the Shorey/McKechnie connection.
This genealogy is so exciting. I feel I have gained a better knowledge of my lineage, and how I fit into it. I am wondering, like a detective, why my grandfather Fred McKechnie Shores changed his name from Shorey to Shores. That may be why Henry A.Shorey my greatgrandfather married to Charlotte McKechnie lost the Shorey line in that name change.Must read the Centtennial Hstory of Watrville. This is where myMother and parents lived. Thanks a million, for your list of names.
