Looking for Information and parents of William Shorey,Sr.
m. in Ft. Loudon, Tn. to Ghi-Goo-Ie, Cherokee who was b. in Tn. Their daughter was Anna Shorey,b. Ft. Loudon and died May 28,1825 in Rossville, Ga. Anna was married to John McDonald, A Scotch trader, who died at sea in 1762. Anna was my grt grtgrtgrtgrtgrandmother. I would like any information on this Shorey family. I believe the books say William Shorey was an interpreter to the Indians.
