Michael, I forgot to add to my last message that Joseph Shorey is my GGG grandfather he was married to Mary E. King and their son John J. Shorey and his wife Effie J. Wade were my GG grandparents. Their son Harry Shorey and his wife Etta Jane (Annis) Shorey are my great-grandparents. Charles G. Shorey and Bette Booska Shorey are my grandparents. Their son David Timothy Shorey and Joan Hooker-Shorey are my parents. I will give you a more complete line listing if it will help, including siblings.I have a Naudin and Mary Shorey as the parents of the Joseph that you are researching, making them my GGGG grandparents. I was curious to how the name change came about. I have been told that our Shorey name is Canadien French and evolved from Charest, but I always run into English origins and was beginning to get frustrated!!! Thank you for confirming that you too have knowledge of the Charest-Shores-Shorey connection. I have checked out the Charest family genforum but have not checked the Shores family. I will be sure to do that ASAP! Thank you again, stay in touch. Tammy Shorey-Coltey
