Levi Shores sold 2 of his slaves to son Alfred, on 2 April 1833 in Franklin Co., TN (proven fact). The 1850 Slave Schedule for Franklin Co., AR lists Alfred Shores with 6 slaves, and 2 of these are EXACTLY the same sex and age, as the ones Levi sold to his son Alfred. The 1850 Census for the same area lists Alfred with his family. Does anyone have PROOF that this Alfred (of AR in 1850) is from the Shor(German-Swiss family)as many seem to think?
Seems to me that the salves are a strong link to Levi Shores??
