My grandfather was John Teignmouth William Shore, born in Dublin, lived in London and came to New Zealand around 1900. He had a farm in the Pohangina Valley near Palmerston North and in 1926 moved with his family to Mahurangi Heads near Warkworth with his wife and two daughters. His father, grandfather and great grandfather all lived in Dublin. I doubt if there is any connection to your Shores, but you never know!
