Hi, My name is Donald Edward Shope. My father was Robert Miller Shope, brother of Clarence. I know my Grandfathers name was Casper Miller Shope. I think the Shopes' was born in Harrisonburg, Virginia. My uncle Raymond lived in Waynesboro, retired from Sunbeam Bakery. He died sometime in 2002 or 2003. Viola his wife died died a few years ago. I think Uncle Arthur retired from the Navy any was killed by an automobile shortly after retirement. Uncle Paul lived in North Carolina, and I think is also dead. Aunt Christine lived in Harrisonburg, never married, and died several years in a Nursing Home. I think Aunt Margaret is married and last I heard is still living but is in a Nursing Home in Harrisonburg. My Father Robert Miller Shope died on Sept 8, 1986 of an accident. My Mother Edith died this month "July 7, 2004 from massive Stroke. she was 90 years old. She was born Feb 7, 1914. My dad was born Dec 4, 1910.
